A well-established, non-automotive, non-union, profitable manufacturer is seeking a Production Supervisor to work second shift and lead a team of employees to meet daily production goals. This position will report to the Manufacturing Manager and will be responsible for the following tasks:
This is a second shift position; candidates need to be willing to work second shift long-term. Hours are 2 p.m. to 10:30 p a.m. Candidates should be able to handle high-pressure, fast-paced environments and be able to hold others accountable. Your benefits will include paid time and a half overtime after 45 hours worked, annual bonus, 401K match, HSA contribution, tuition reimbursement, medical, dental and vision, holidays, long term and short term disability, vacation and life insurance. Candidates will be on the manufacturing floor 85% of the day and will share an open office with others!
REQUIREMENTS for the Production Supervisor:
1. A minimum of a high school diploma or GED
2. At least two years in a similar supervision role
3. Experience working in injection or blow molding environments
4. Experience overseeing at least 10 employees
5. Experience conducting disciplinary actions and writing employee reviews
6. Willingness to work the second shift long term
7. Basic Microsoft Office skills
Skills preferred but NOT required:
1. Non-union supervision

3. ERP experience
4. Payroll software
