Job Title: Manager, IT

Location: Coral Springs, FL (100% Onsite)

Schedule: Full-time

Salary Range: $135,000 – $150,000/Year

About the Role:

Are you a strategic IT leader with a passion for managing technology in a regulated environment? This is your opportunity to lead the IT operations for a state-of-the-art R&D and GMP facility, ensuring efficient infrastructure management, regulatory compliance, and seamless user support. Based in Coral Springs, FL, this role is pivotal in maintaining robust IT systems that support both local and remote operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure & Operations Management

• Oversee all aspects of IT operations, including network, server, storage, and end-user systems.
• Conduct system monitoring, data center interventions, and patch management.
• Coordinate disaster recovery drills and maintain backup strategies.

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure IT operations align with GMP and 21 CFR Part 11 requirements.
• Manage validation lifecycle activities and maintain required documentation.
• Support audits and ensure adherence to internal SOPs and licensing compliance.

Application & Vendor Management

• Act as the liaison for local application support and interface with global IT support.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service rollouts.
• Support R&D, manufacturing, and plant systems with project execution and vendor coordination.

Leadership & Strategic Initiatives

• Drive IT initiatives, including cloud migration, cybersecurity enhancements, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Manage and track IT inventory, budgets, and improvement projects.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless technology integration and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
• 15–20 years of progressive IT experience, including 5–10 years in a managerial capacity.
• Hands-on expertise in server and network administration, AD, O365, Intune, VMWare, backup tools, and endpoint management.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical environments, including quality systems and GMP processes.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Knowledge of SAP, TrackWise, LIMS, and EBR systems preferred.
• Proficiency in CSV (Computer System Validation) and related regulatory frameworks.
