A leading alternative asset manager is seeking a VP of Operations to join their team. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, this individual will play a key role in supporting trade execution, settlements, and operational workflows.
The ideal candidate will have deal closing experience in the private debt space. They will also have experience providing daily support to deal and portfolio management teams, and coordinating closing activities, including providing quality control with respect to the deal closing process. This role requires you to be onsite 3 days per week and offers a strong compensation structure and great benefits. Responsibilities :Manage trade booking, confirmation, and settlement across multiple asset classes.
Perform trade matching via CTM and settlement using prime brokerage and custodian portals.
Provide front-office support, assisting traders, analysts, and portfolio managers with operational needs.
Respond to queries from administrators and custodians regarding trades, positions, and pricing.
Support new fund launches, including account openings and PB/ISDA agreement negotiations.
Conduct research and processing of corporate actions and restructures.
Prepare and deliver quarterly and monthly reports to management, third parties, and compliance teams.
Identify process inefficiencies and partner with third-party developers to design and implement automation or workflow enhancements.
Strong knowledge of Bonds, Bank Debt, Credit Derivatives, Equities, Futures, and other derivatives.
