A leading law firm in the Greater Springfield area is seeking a skilled Trusts & Estates Attorney to join our client’s sophisticated estate planning and administration practice. They are looking for a seasoned professional with experience serving high-net-worth clients across estate and special needs planning, trust and estate administration, and business and real estate matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on complex estate planning strategies, including trust administration and special needs planning.
• Handle estate and trust administration matters from inception through final distribution.
• Address income, gift, and estate tax issues, including tax return preparation.
• Collaborate with clients, families, and other advisors on business succession planning and real estate-related estate matters.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Massachusetts Bar (Candidates admitted in Connecticut with the ability to quickly transition to MA will also be considered).
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in trust and estates law.
• Deep knowledge of trust administration, estate and tax planning, and related legal frameworks.
• Proven experience preparing estate, gift, and fiduciary income tax returns.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and client management skills.
• LLM is a plus.

Position Details:

• Full-Time, On-Site in Springfield, MA
• Direct Hire position
• Competitive starting salary from $120,000+, commensurate with experience
