KOMPAN U.S. is growing, and we're looking for motivated individuals to join our new Service and Maintenance Team. This role is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience while supporting the playground project journey post-installation.

Who We Are

For more than 50 years, KOMPAN has researched, designed, and built innovative and imaginative commercial playground equipment and outdoor fitness sites that captivate all ages and abilities.

In collaboration with our global headquarters in Denmark, KOMPAN designs, manufactures, and installs more than 1,000 sites a month across 90 different countries. Our North American headquarters, located in Austin, Texas, supports field sales around the U.S. and Canada.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work Order Management: Create, assign, and track service work orders for inspections, repairs, and maintenance. Ensure all jobs are properly documented from initiation to completion.
  • Scheduling & Coordination: Coordinate with customer and service provider to schedule service based on availability, location, and project priority.
  • Customer Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding service requests, updates, follow-ups, and issue resolution. Provide clear and timely communication before, during, and after service visits.
  • Data Entry & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of service activities in the company’s CRM or field service software. Generate service reports, maintenance logs, and safety compliance documentation.
  • Warranty & Service Agreements: Track warranty status and recurring maintenance contracts. Ensure services are delivered in line with contract terms and timelines.
  • Field Team Support: Assist technicians with job details, directions, parts needs, and documentation. Ensure they have the correct tools, materials, and information for successful service completion.

What You’ll Need

  • 3 or more years of professional experience
  • High School Diploma/GED required; advanced education preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize projects, and independently manage workload
  • Understanding of construction is a plus
  • A supportive team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
