An experienced industry professional, the candidate will have a minimum of 10 years relevant market experience. The candidate will have an in depth understanding of the industrial power generation market, understanding the historic landscape, existing major suppliers, competition challenges and be able to identify, and pursue, future opportunities. The candidate will have experience negotiating at a senior level and feel comfortable representing the company NA at all levels within the market. Based primarily in the USA the candidate will be happy to travel extensively to represent the company NA to existing and potential customers in both the original equipment and after sales markets, with the expectation being that this role will require the candidate to travel at least 60% of their time.
The candidate will be responsible for leading the Sales and Marketing function to expand into new and existing markets and to provide commercial direction to the company NA.
Working with and alongside the sales and marketing function, the candidate will be responsible for preparing the company NA annual marketing strategy, plans and analysing the market and competitors. This collaborative approach with the company Team will ensure consistency across the Group approach. The candidate will be expected to deliver a high quality customer experience associated with a world class engineering and manufacturing facility as well as providing day to day management and leadership of the sales and marketing function and activities.
