A top food and beverage company is seeking an administrative legal assistant to provide support to the real estate group for a 3 month long contract position. The main responsibilities of this position with include preparing basic legal documents, reporting property tax information through researching on websites, reviewing SNDA and Estoppels legal documents, and providing basic administrative support to the real estate team.

Responsibilities:

• Confirm document terms are consistent with lease and approved deal terms.
• Abstract critical leases into database- processing and documenting property transactions to company via deal memos.
• Manage lease terms for new leases and renewals.
• Work with accounting to set up new landlords for payment and ensure payment is carried out.
• Manage and negotiate property and lease resolutions.
• Prepare and review basic legal documents such as SNDAs and Estoppels (not from scratch).
• Conduct legal research and gather property tax and ownership information from public websites.
• Support the legal team with administrative tasks and document management.
• Assist with lease administration and real estate property management issues.
• Pull and compile reports using Excel and internal systems.
• Track construction and store-related updates using Gateway.
• Manage legal documents within Tango.
• Coordinate document execution and follow-up with stakeholders.

Compensation:

$23/hr to $25/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
