Project Manager - Structured Cabling & Integrated Systems

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our structured cabling and integrated systems projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large-scale, multi-million-dollar projects across different construction vertical markets, with particular emphasis on critical infrastructure data center environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of complex structured cabling and integrated systems projects
• Lead construction teams of 50-100+ technicians on project sites
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation
• Navigate various contractual types including lump sum, cost plus/GMP, unit price, design-build/design-assist, time and material
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, architects, and stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines
• Prepare and present regular status reports to senior management and clients
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication

Requirements

• 7-10+ years of experience managing structured cabling and integrated systems projects
• Proven track record managing large-scale multi-million-dollar project work
• Experience managing critical infrastructure data center projects (highly preferred)
• Demonstrated expertise in managing diverse contractual types and vehicles
• Experience leading construction teams of 50-100+ technicians on project sites
• Familiarity with industry-leading manufacturers and their products
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in project management software and MS Office applications

Education & Certifications

• BS in Project Management or Construction Management (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
• Industry certifications preferred:
• BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD)
• BICSI Registered Telecommunications Project Manager (RTPM)
• Project Management Professional (PMP)
