Job Description
An Aerospace company is looking for a Program Manager who will: - Serve as primary customer advocate/contact for assigned aerospace/Space programs with respect to schedule, engineering development, and hardware/software deliverables. - Coordinate customer orders, change requests, and RFPs (Request for Proposals). - Have full financial responsibility for assigned Aerospace/Space programs and projects. - Provide cost/fiscal tracking and reporting to management (and customers, as required). - Ensure that all aerospace program activities are carried out in accordance with established specifications, schedules and budgets, while minimizing risk to the Company. - Drive, motivate and facilitate cross-functional teams to support and deliver on program objectives. - Lead effectively across organizational levels and boundaries. - Deliver recommendations and proposals to senior management. - Manage all program communications and contract data submittals, including technical analyses and reports.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a Technical discipline (Manufacturing or Engineering) is required. - Minimum of 5 years of program/project management experience in the aerospace industry. - Proven track record of managing aerospace commercial, military, or space component programs and projects. - Strong financial acumen with full responsibility for program budgets, cost tracking, and reporting. - Effective at driving cross-functional teams and delivering results against established schedules and budgets. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience serving as a primary customer advocate. - Technical knowledge of aerospace/space product development and production requirements is essential

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
