Position: Private Estate Caretaker

Location: Private Ranch; Little Jackson Hole, Wyoming

Employment Type: Full-Time

Reports To: CEO/Proprietor and Administrative Executive

Position Overview

We are seeking an exceptional and versatile Private Estate Caretaker to oversee the daily operations of our CEO's private residence and support our short-term rental properties; all on a pristine ranch in Little Jackson Hole, Wyoming. This unique opportunity combines traditional household management with meal preparation and hospitality services in one of the most beautiful locations in the American West.

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated professional who thrives in a dynamic, multi-faceted role while maintaining the highest standards of service and discretion.

Primary Responsibilities

Estate & Household Management (60%)

  • Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organization of the CEO's primary residence
  • Prepare lunches and dinners for the proprietor and his guests when onsite accommodating dietary preferences and entertaining needs
  • Plan and execute all preparations for special events and guest entertaining
  • Manage household inventory, grocery shopping, and vendor relationships
  • Coordinate and oversee maintenance, repairs, and seasonal property preparations
  • Ensure security protocols are followed and property is properly secured at all times
  • Manage / oversee landscaping and grounds maintenance around the main residence
  • Handle laundry, ironing, and wardrobe care with attention to fine fabrics
  • Maintain discretion and confidentiality in all household matters

Short-Term Rental Support (40%)

  • Perform thorough cleaning and turnover services for Short-term rental properties between guests as needed
  • Restock amenities, linens, and kitchen supplies for rental properties
  • Coordinate with rental management team on scheduling and guest communications
  • Ensure rental properties meet brand standards and guest expectations
  • Handle emergency situations at rental properties as needed

Required Qualifications

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in high-end household management or hospitality
  • Culinary expertise with ability to prepare restaurant-quality meals for 2-12 people
  • Knowledge of fine dining service and formal entertaining protocols
  • Experience managing multiple properties or hospitality operations
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Physical capability to perform demanding cleaning and maintenance tasks
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

  • Previous employment with high-profile individuals or families
  • Basic knowledge of wine service and beverage programs
  • Experience with smart home technology and security systems

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Extended periods of standing, walking, and physical activity
  • Comfortable working in various weather conditions
  • Ability to navigate ranch terrain and multiple property locations
  • Manual dexterity for detailed cleaning and food preparation tasks
