Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Mental Health Program Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will have a passion for helping others and a drive to make a meaningful impact in the field of mental health. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our mental health programs and assist our clients in achieving their goals.

Mental Health Program Assistant Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Providing administrative support to mental health professionals.
  • Assisting clients with scheduling appointments and accessing resources.
  • Documenting client progress and communicating updates to relevant parties.
  • Coordinating with community organizations and partners to ensure continuity of care.
  • Assisting in the planning and implementation of mental health events and workshops.
  • Providing support to clients during appointments and facilitating group therapy sessions.


Mental Health Program Assistant Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related field.
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including individuals with mental illness and/or addiction.
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Associate's degree in psychology, social work, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a mental health or social services setting.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Compassionate and empathetic demeanor.
  • Must be License in Mental Health Behavioral Alliance.
