Job Description

Job Title: Maintenance Planner

Salary: 125k

Type: Full-time, on-site.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Maintenance Planner to join our manufacturing team. The Maintenance Planner will be responsible for developing and overseeing maintenance schedules, ensuring that all equipment and machinery are maintained in optimal working condition. This role is crucial in minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity within our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed maintenance schedules for all equipment and machinery.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and production teams to plan and prioritize maintenance activities.
  • Monitor and track maintenance activities to ensure timely completion.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, including work orders, equipment history, and maintenance logs.
  • Identify and procure necessary spare parts and materials for maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers to schedule and oversee external maintenance services.
  • Conduct regular inspections and assessments of equipment to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities.
  • Continuously improve maintenance processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in maintenance planning or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Planner in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling techniques.
  • Proficiency in using maintenance management software and tools.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in maintenance.
