Job Description

A leading design house located in the Garment District of Manhattan is seeking a Junior Planner to support our team and service our customer better. Our team is hardworking, efficient and well-respected and we’re looking for someone to make it even better.

Responsibilities:

• Assist to review and analyze sales history to successfully plan future programs, detailing total units to produce, initial set assortments, and store allocations
• Generate/complete weekly reports in support of business objectives, i.e. Ladder plans, Sku Selling/Weekly Best sellers reports, & Replenishment reports
• Review end of season results to help create reports with highlights, learning, and recommended changes for next season
• Manage inventory by forecasting weekly sales and create production buy to keep replenishment programs in-stock without inventory liabilities
• This position involves working with fun products that have a trend liable to change rapidly and basic products

Qualifications:

Please note: Candidates who meet the following will be considered.

• 1-3 years’ experience in a sales analyst or planning role
• Experience working with Walmart, Target, and Kohls system a plus
• Ability to gather and interoperate data for various reports
• Strong Microsoft Excel Skills (vlookup, sumifs, pivot tables), savvy computer user
• Great attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks
• Enjoys troubleshooting & creating solutions via Excel, analytical mindset
• Works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
