The HR Automation Specialist’s primary focus is to optimize HR processes through technology, particularly in areas like recruitment, onboarding, compliance, workforce planning and employee management. This involves analyzing existing workflows, identifying opportunities for automation, implementing solutions, and ensuring their effectiveness and efficiency. The role also requires collaboration with other departments and a strong understanding of manufacturing operations.
The position is located onsite at the Daikin America, Inc. manufacturing plant in Decatur, AL.
The successful candidate will have a B.S. in human resources, business administration, computer science, CIS or related field, or 3-5 years’ related automation experience in a manufacturing work environment required.
Candidate should also have proven experience with Microsoft Power Automate and SharePoint interface. Candidate should also have experience with UKG reporting or similar HRMS/HRIS and/or Learning Management Systems (LMS). 3-5 years’ experience as HR Specialist is also preferred.
