Support underwriting operations by reviewing submissions, verifying data, and applying basic risk assessment principles.
Collaborate with the Implementation team to set up underwriting rules, configure decision logic, and onboard new products or clients.
Partner with the Sales team to assess new opportunities, assist with quoting processes, and help craft client-specific solutions.
Interpret actuarial models and data outputs to inform underwriting decisions and guide product customization.
Contribute to documentation of underwriting guidelines, process improvements, and internal training materials.
Communicate with clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and ensure smooth implementation.
Work in internal platforms (CRM, underwriting tools, product configurators) to manage workflows and track client progress.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science , Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills and a foundational understanding of insurance principles and risk evaluation.
Interest in insurance and technology, but not necessarily pursuing actuarial exams or a traditional actuarial career .
Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Collaborative mindset and ability to work across functions in a fast-paced startup environment.
Familiarity with Excel and data tools; bonus points for any experience with underwriting software or SaaS platforms.
Why Join Us?
