The Opportunity

The Director of Marketing & Innovation will lead the company’s efforts to strengthen brand equity, grow market share, and expand customer reach through data-driven campaigns, thoughtful brand development, and breakthrough product ideas tailored to the foodservice industry. This role requires a dynamic, high-capacity leader with deep B2B marketing experience, strong commercial instincts, and a genuine passion for uncovering unmet operator needs and converting them into market-ready solutions. It blends strategic planning, creative storytelling, digital mastery, and a relentless pursuit of innovation—making it ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving, entrepreneurial environments where innovation and execution must go hand in hand.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a data-driven marketing strategy aligned with revenue growth, product portfolio expansion, and brand elevation.
  • Define brand architecture, positioning, and messaging frameworks for core product lines, tailored to operators, chefs, distributors, and rep groups.
  • Establish KPIs and dashboards to track campaign ROI, lead conversion, customer engagement, and marketing’s contribution to sales.
  • Serve as the cross-functional champion for innovation—bridging marketing, product development, and operations together to identify and pursue new growth opportunities.
  • Translate customer feedback, culinary trends, and competitive intelligence into actionable product concepts and market requirements
  • Facilitate ideation workshops and innovation sprints to generate new product or service ideas with internal teams and external collaborators (e.g., chefs, operators, dealers).
  • Contribute to the long-term product roadmap, advising on feature prioritization, go-to-market timing, and value proposition development.
  • Direct integrated demand generation campaigns using SEO/SEM, paid media, email automation, content strategy, and social media to generate and nurture qualified leads.
  • Own the corporate website and digital ecosystem—including UX, SEO, lead generation, and product visibility.
  • Performs other duties or responsibilities as requested or required

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or MBA in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field/equivalent experience.
  • 8–12 years of progressive marketing experience with at least 4–5 years in a B2B environment, ideally in manufacturing, foodservice equipment, or industrial products.
  • Experience working with channel partners, distributors, and manufacturer representatives.
  • Knowledge of the restaurant and hospitality industry's buying cycles and equipment procurement processes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial manufacturing environment with hands-on leadership.
  • Experience marketing to restaurant owners, operators, and/or commercial kitchen designers is highly preferred.
  • Strong expertise in digital marketing, lead generation, and CRM-based marketing automation.
  • Skilled in brand management, storytelling, content creation, and product marketing.
  • Hands-on experience planning and executing trade shows and dealer marketing programs.
  • Proficiency with marketing technologies (e.g., Salesforce, Google Analytics, CMS platforms).
