Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and bilingual (Spanish/English) Commercial Construction Superintendent with a strong background in landscape construction to oversee and manage on-site operations for commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a superintendent in commercial construction.
• Proven experience in landscape construction or landscape architecture.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and technical documents.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise all on-site construction activities, including subcontractors and labor crews.
• Coordinate and schedule daily tasks, inspections, and deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, schedules, and change orders.
• Oversee landscape installation, including grading, irrigation, planting, and hardscape elements.
• Resolve on-site issues promptly and efficiently.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and enforce job site safety protocols.
• Serve as a bilingual liaison between English-speaking management and Spanish-speaking crews.

Compensation:

$65,000 to $85,000 per year annual salary.
