Job Description

As part of the HR Team, the Compensation Analyst will participate in the administration of the compensation programs, including the yearly bonus process, job matching to McLagan Data and Analytics, and various other comp surveys, and restricted stock plan uploads. Additionally, this position is tasked with ensuring that compensation systems are updated on a timely basis. This role requires a hands-on compensation professional with the ability to execute on a diverse set of initiatives timely and accurately.

Responsibilities:

The Compensation Analyst will work with the other members of HR Team including the Head of HR to manage compensation related matters for the organization including the yearly compensation process, maintenance of internal compensation data, external market data survey participation/benchmarking, and restricted stock plan administration. They will:

  • Manage compensation data and assist with the annual year-end compensation process;
  • Administer cash and restricted stock compensation plans including award grants , vest processing, reporting and withholding obligations, associated compliance/filings, and participant queries;
  • Coordinate the processing of bonus payrolls globally;
  • Complete third party market data surveys and prepare benchmarking analyses;
  • Leverage compensation system and work with the HRIS Manager to develop reports for compiling, preparing and presenting compensation data;
  • Work with the HR Team members on various projects and interact with portfolio company HR departments to share ideas and best practices.

Experience and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years’ experience in compensation at a financial services firm and an undergraduate degree in a related field. In addition, he or she should have:

  • Ability to execute accurately and efficiently;
  • A strong sense of urgency;
  • Business acumen and analytical capabilities;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Exhibit a very strong drive for personal excellence and a self-starter mentality;
  • Ability to handle matters with confidentiality and discretion;
  • A high degree of personal integrity
