The firm is comprised of nine attorneys and ten support staff; made up of paralegals, legal assistants, a marketing department, and office and billing management and administrators. We have offices in West Jordan and St. George Utah.

Position: Associate Attorney

  • Practice areas of focus:

Criminal and Family law.

Personal Injury experience is a plus.

 

Responsibilities  may include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the intake process of new clients;
  • Represent clients in all aspects of family law and criminal law cases.

Conduct legal research and writing.

Communicate with clients from the initial consult through the conclusion of the client’s matter.

Prepare for and attend client meetings, mediation, hearings, and trials.

Manage case files and maintain accurate records and logs.

  • Manage cases from intake to settlement;
  • Draft letters, demands, briefs, memorandums, discovery, and other legal documents; and,
  • Responding to law enforcement officer critical incidents.
  • 150 billable hours per month.

 

Experience :

  • At least 2 years of experience in family and criminal law required.
  • Proficient in legal research and drafting legal documents.
  • Familiar with the Utah rules of Civil Procedure, Criminal Procedure, and Evidence.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Job Type:  Full-time

Pay : $120,000

Schedule :

  • Choose your own hours, with preference given for 9:00 am - 5:00 p.m.

License/Certification

· Utah Bar member in good standing.
